How a Minnesota Group Resisted ICE Through Song
A local group called Singing Resistance organized public singing in Minneapolis after the killing of Renée Good. An estimated 300 people joined an early neighborhood march, about 600 joined another gathering six days later, and about 1,400 gathered to sing at a church after Alex Pretti’s death by ICE. Participants learned songs together and sang to express dissent, grief, and solidarity with neighbors affected by the ICE surge.
